Pittsburgh Steelers — Kareem Jackson

When the Steelers called on Joe Haden last season, it was clear: desperate times call for desperate measures. And Haden produced before an injury derailed his season. Relying on Haden, due $10 million in 2019, could be a problem for Pittsburgh.

This team needs to add depth at corner, especially on a team that fancies itself the biggest threat to the Patriots in the AFC.

Despite going into 2019 with just under $9 million in cap space, Jackson could fit nicely into the slot Pittsburgh retains. Jackson made 8.5 million 30-year-old corner but Texans have Johnathan  Joseph, Kevin Johnson, and . signed Aaron Colvin along with the Honey Badger this spring.

Jackson has experience in zone and man coverage, making him a pliable, versatile corner for this Pittsburgh system. Clearly the Steelers would like for their young corners Artie Burns and Cameron Sutton to come through, but if they don’t, Pittsburgh should be in the market for a corner a year from now.
