NBA Free Agency 2018: 5 offseason targets for the Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have been making incremental steps forward. Who should they be looking to add to their young core this summer.
It may not have shown in the standings last season, but the Nets have begun to claw their way back from the dark draft-pick-devoid years that started their rebuild. They have intriguing young wings like Caris LeVert and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. They have the overpriced-but-useful shooting of Allen Crabbe. They have Jarrett Allen, a young, bouncy center who looks like a keeper. And they were surprised to find themselves with an unexpected logjam at point guard when injuries to Jeremy Lin and D’Angelo Russell allowed for the emergence of Spencer Dinwiddie.
The Nets might not be able to swing big this summer but they’ll likely have some money to play with and could look for another young piece with upside. They hold the No. 29 pick in the NBA Draft and between that and free agency could be looking for frontcourt depth and some high-risk, high-reward type players.
