1. Jabari Parker

Parker never looked right after returning from his second ACL surgery. Questions about his health and long-term upside will persist this summer and could depress the market for him and the Milwaukee Bucks willingness to match an offer sheet someone throws at him (he’s a restricted free agent). This might be the biggest risk for the Nets, as it would probably involve a much higher financial cost and longer commitment than any of the other players on this list, but Parker could be a great fit.

At his best, Parker can stretch the floor, score in the low post, get out on the break and attack all sorts of offensive mismatches. He’s probably best at the 4 full-time but he’d make a reasonable pairing between Allen and Hollis-Jefferson with the defensive acumen of the other two offering an opportunity to hide Parker on the least-threatening frontcourt player.

Parker is among the biggest question marks this summer but he’s also one of the few attainable players for a team like the Nets with real star potential. Brooklyn may prefer to play things slowly and develop organically. But if Parker works out, he could move their rebuild along much more quickly.
