The 2018 IndyCar season’s doubleheader begins Saturday with the 2018 Dual in Detroit Race 1. Here’s how to watch IndyCar live, on TV and online.

The Verizon IndyCar Series doubles up this weekend with the 2018 Dual in Detroit, the season’s only doubleheader. Fans don’t want to miss this back-to-back event, so we’re telling you how to watch IndyCar online and watch IndyCar live on Saturday to see part one.

Last year, the Raceway at Belle Isle Park was dominated by Graham Rahal, who won not only this race but both races. Rahal comes to Detroit sitting sixth in the 2018 season; two more wins would easily push him into the top of the IndyCar championship fight with Will Power, Alexander Rossi, Josef Newgarden and Scott Dixon.

But really, these two races are fair game for anyone, as drivers have had just six days to turn things around from the Indianapolis 500 and now have to run two more races in 48 hours. This is an exercise in endurance for the entire Verizon IndyCar Series, and a quick chance for teams to try and make up some points they didn’t gain in last Sunday’s double-points action.

You can either climb back up, or if you struggle here after a rough ride at the Indy 500, it could be the pothole from which your 2018 IndyCar season does not recover. It’s big for IndyCar teams, and it’s big for race fans because it’s double the action, so of course you want to watch IndyCar this Saturday! Why wouldn’t you?
