The Washington Capitals host the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.

On Wednesday, the Washington Capitals defeated the Vegas Golden Knights by a final score of 3-2 in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. Strong performances from the likes of Braden Holtby, Lars Eller, Brooks Orpik and Alexander Ovechkin was the central avenue through which the Capitals snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and evened the series up.

A win on Saturday night could ultimately allow Washington to take control of the overarching momentum of the fourth-round contest. In order to walk away on top, the Capitals shall have to continue to apply intense pressure to Marc-Andre Fleury, who is slowly starting to show signs of fatigue.

The matchup in question will be particularly difficult, as an upper-body injury to Evgeny Kuznetsov shall require more from Washington’s depth players. Regardless of whether Kuznetsov returns, look for the aforementioned Eller, Andre Burakovsky and Jay Beagle to step up their game.

For Vegas, Game 3 is an opportunity to usher forth a disappointment for the books before fans at Capital One Arena. A victory on the road can only come to light if the Golden Knights’ stars marry offensive prowess with defensive responsibility. Expect William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, Reilly Smith and Marc Andre-Fleury to clock in tough minutes as they aim to steal one on the road.
