2. Elias

It’s high time for the WWE to put Elias into a meaningful program. He’s had some enjoyable moments with the guitar in his hands, but it’s time to make him an actual wrestler. A feud with Reigns would give Elias the chance to prove his worth to the WWE Universe.

To execute this successfully, the WWE would have to let Reigns work heel. Elias has too much charisma to work as the heel. Even if he insulted fans in every town, the crowds would still be motivated to cheer him over Reigns.

In an ideal world, the storyline here could be Elias fully turning face and trying to be the physical embodiment of the fans. Just imagine the magic he could produce cutting promos with that guitar against Reigns every week. He could make Roman look absolutely silly in the best way possible.

The real challenge for WWE here is that Elias would need to emerge victorious in the long run. Reigns burying Elias would only increase hardcore fans’ hatred of the big Samoan. Putting Elias over at a major PPV would help dispel the notion that Reigns is the WWE golden boy. That might help his career more than anything.
