The only weather to speak of is a 20 mph wind blowing out to center in San Francisco, but the wind is always blowing out to center there. It wont help anyone all that much.
We will provide you with several options to build your lineup here. Want to spend all your money on pitchers and play bargain bats? We will highlight who is worth the money. Want to punt arms and pay up for the big boppers? We can help you with that as well, and everything in between!
These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. Stacking against a bad pitcher is always a good idea!

Next: DraftKings Pitcher Plays
Top Tier:
Mike Foltynewicz ($11,600): The price on Folty is through the roof after his domination of the Nationals in his last start. This is a very favorable matchup on paper in a pitcher’s park in San Diego. I wouldn’t expect another 49.5 out of Foltynewicz, but he should be right around 30. That’s a really good return for the highest rated pitcher on the slate. Foltynewicz should live up to the price this afternoon.
Carlos Carrasco ($10,000): Carrasco was knocked around by the Twins his last time out, but this is the Brewers. Thames is still out. The current healthy Brewers are hitting just .230 off of Carrasco in 74 at bats with just two runs and 26 strikeouts. Carrasco is getting back on track here. The only question is whether you will be on board or not. Carrasco put up a staggering 47.2 DraftKings points on the Brewers in Milwaukee earlier this year.
Middle Tier:
Dylan Bundy ($8,700): It’s hard to pony up this kind of cash for someone as inconsistent as Bundy, but The Mets offense is struggling anyway. And there is the fact that the current Mets are 0-16 off of Bundy with seven strikeouts. We saw Bundy pitch a gem against the White Sox two starts ago. This is a similar all-or-nothing offense in the Mets here tonight. I like the potential of Bundy, but I’m not sure he’s a better play than Roark.
Tanner Roark ($8,300): We saw what a team that strikes out a lot can do for your game score. I expected Roark to be in the five figures somewhere, so I’m very happy with him at this price. With the exception of the disastrous series against the Braves, Roark has been solid lately. I expect him around 20 DraftKings points again today, which is a very good total for this price range.
Bargain Pitchers:
Clay Buchholz ($7,200): The smoke and mirrors is working for Buchholz so far, and should continue against a weak Giants offense. Is Buchholz going to finish the season with a 1.50 ERA?No. It will likely be closer to 4.50. I don’t think correction happens today, but there is a healthy amount of risk here.
Chris Stratton ($6,700): Stratton is only on here for one reason: he put up 26.8 DraftKings points on Arizona earlier this season. Stratton held the Snakes to just one run on five hits through seven. I will tell you that I don’t think that happens again, but there is always the chance that it does. Especially when you consider that first gem was in Arizona. His home park is much more pitcher friendly.
Washington Nationals vs. Tampa Bay Rays:
The Rays haven’t announced a starter yet, but my guess is that we will see plenty of Anthony Banda or Ryan Yarbrough in this one. Neither one of them has the stuff to keep the Nats at bay. Harper, Trea Turner, and Rendon are definitely in play here. Michael Taylor as well since he should get at least one or two at bats against a lefty. That also makes Juan Soto tempting because a righty should start.
Cleveland Indians vs. Chase Anderson:
Anderson has actually been a serviceable pitcher on the road, but those have been getting gradually worse as well. Cleveland is arguably the best team that Anderson has faced on the road, so this has great potential to get ugly. I’m a big fan of Lindor and Jose Ramirez for sure. Edwin is a close third. After that, we can use cheaper options like Bradley Zimmer or Yan Gomes, but I think I prefer Brantley and Kipnis. For the record, Brantley and Gomes are the two current Indians that have homered off of Anderson before.
Atlanta Braves vs. Walker Lockett:
Lockett got knocked around on Saturday, lasting just 3.1 innings in his major league debut. DraftKings has Lockett listed as the starter right now, but nothing is confirmed yet. If it is Lockett, this is a great spot to stack Braves. Freddie Freeman is pretty much a must-have. So is Albies. Dansby Swanson looks good as well. Markakis and Bautista can cap off the stack, though only using four is not a bad idea either.
Next: Other notes for 6-6
Top Tier:
Yes, Zach Wheeler gets a break facing the Orioles instead of the Yankees, but the fact remains that Wheeler has been a disaster at CitiField. In five home starts, Wheeler has posted a 6.43 ERA. The only thing on his side tonight is the fact that the Orioles are very heavy on the right side. Of course, Machado is in play no matter what. Chris Davis and Pedro Alvarez look to be strong options as well. The jury is still out on Adam Jones, and the rest of the outfielders are pretty much only in use against lefties. A full stack is out, but a secondary stack of Orioles within your main stack looks like a pretty good idea.
Yeah, I don’t trust Chris Stratton. Goldy and Jake Lamb are in play for me at the very least. David Peralta and his hot streak can’t be ignored either.

Middle Tier:
I can say with certainty that the only Brewer I’m really considering tonight is Lorenzo Cain. Cain is 13-36 with four runs and a steal against Carrasco in his career.
Once again, I’m a big fan of Brandon Nimmo. I will be until he cools down. If you don’t trust Dylan Bundy, Asdrubal Cabrera and Adrian Gonzalez could be worth a look as well.
Whenever a guy like Clay Buchholz toes the rubber, there is at least a little potential among the opposing hitters. My favorite Giants today are Posey and McCutchen, but there are likely better options elsewhere. They are mostly contrarian picks for those that think Buchholz is due to struggle.
Bargain Shoppers:
I wont be tripping over myself to use any Rays against Tanner Roark, but I do like Carlos Gomez for the price. Robertson is worth a look at a shallow position as well.
