Scottie Pippen

As the only player to be Michael Jordan’s teammate during all six of his championship runs, Pippen’s place in NBA history is certainly secure. However, he still remains somewhat underrated due to his role as sidekick to Michael Jordan, yet it is very doubtful that Jordan wins many of his six championships without Pippen by his side. Pippen was a formidable scorer, averaging 20 points per game from 1991 to 1998, but he also had a diverse skill set as he also averaged seven rebounds and six assists as well during that timespan. Despite his offensive prowess, he was even more fearsome as a defender, being able to guard seemingly everyone with his long arms and deceiving dexterity. However, due to Jordan’s undeniable greatness in the Finals, Pippen was never able to win a Finals MVP despite his importance to the Bulls along with his own undeniable greatness.
