Which NFL players would make the best Fortnite gamers
Washington Redskins – Jordan Reed
The issue with Jordan Reed is consistency. Granted, it is not his fault he is injured sporadically across the season, but it seems to happen every year. When he’s on the field, he’s a top tier tight end with immense talent and abilities. The key part of that phrase being “when he’s on the field.”
Reed has yet to play an entire season and has ressed for under 10 games in two of his five seasons in the league. When he is on the field, he’s unstoppable. In 2015, his healthiest season, he gathered 982 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 games.
Reed would be the Fortnite player who is heavily strapped down by his significant other. You pray that he can squad up, but you aren’t surprised to hear that he has other plans that evening and won’t be joining you.
For example: One of Reed’s ankle injuries would be the equivalent of your buddy giving you a sad-but-responsible line like “Karen says we have to go see our daughter’s dance recital tonight.” Of course he needs to go to the recital, but it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t rather be in the battle bus with the squad.
Here’s to hoping Reed can sustain a full season in 2018 and that that one really great Fortnite player you know gets to log a bit more time on the battle bus. Wins will be easier to come by for both parties.
Next: Best NFL player from each state
Given that you just read a completely hypothetical article containing 8,000 words about which NFL players would be good as video game characters, I’d say Fortnite has officially taken over the sporting world.
Find out which players on your favorite team are playing the game, squad up with them and build that fandom. You now have something in common with some of the world’s greatest athletes.
Most importantly of all, don’t let anyone catch you without your Nerf sword.
