5. Utah Jazz

The Jazz found a star to build around in Donovan Mitchell, but they could use another scorer. Joe Ingles is highly underrated at the 3-spot, and he’s not going anywhere in the midst of a four-year, $52 million deal, but Utah could make room for a solid offer to Parker.

As it is right now, the Jazz has $83.7 million in salary commitments for next season. Deals for their own impending free agents Derrick Favors and Dante Exum would take them up close to the projected salary cap of $101 million, but letting one or both guys walk would open up more room to make Parker a really competitive offer.

Parker was recently spotted in Salt Lake City, with has stirred up a little speculation among Jazz fans. But he is a member of the LDS Church, and was simply in town for a 40th anniversary celebration of the church’s priesthood. But based on Mormonism being the predominant religion in Utah, Parker could see a personal fit if the Jazz can make it work for them financially.

But there’s a possible path to the Jazz for Parker, if the team wants to create one and give their offense a boost.
