10,000 and above

Dustin Johnson ($11,700)
Fresh off the win at the St. Jude and reclaiming his status as the No. 1 golfer in the world, Johnson looks to add his second major championship. He remains in dominant for that he’s been in for some time now, not missing cuts and always being near the top of the leaderboard. There’s a reason he’s as expensive to put in your lineup as he is.

Justin Thomas ($11,000)
Though he may not be the World No. 1 any longer, Thomas has been unreal this season in the best way. He hasn’t finished worse than T22 in any of his last 10 tournaments, hasn’t missed a cut this season, has five top-10s and has won twice. Given that he set a record for the lowest U.S. Open round last year, he has to be considered, even at a steep price on DraftKings.

Jordan Spieth ($10,800)
Even Spieth himself admits that his inconsistency throughout this season has been frustrating, and oh man has it ever been. Having said that, he’s the type of player that just needs one round for it all to turn around for him. And when his game is one, it’s tailored to have success at a tournament like the U.S. Open. Thus, he’s a huge risk, but one that could pay off in DFS fantasy golf.

Jason Day ($10,500)
Seeing Day ultimately finish T44 at the Memorial was quite disappointing his last time out as he finally seemed to get his form back for a few weeks there, including a win at the Wells Fargo and T5 at THE PLAYERS. Having said that, he is still one of the best in the world and has the overall game to lock in and really be worth his price on DraftKings at the U.S. Open.

Rickie Fowler ($10,200)
Fresh off his recent engagement, wouldn’t it be fortuitous for Fowler to finally get over the hump and win a major? It’s possible with the form he’s been in this season with four finishes of T21 or better in his last five tournaments, including finishing in outright second place at The Masters.
