Dzanan Musa. 27. player. 18. . F. Cedevita

The Boston Celtics are deep, almost beyond comprehension, especially on the wings. With Gordon Hayward returning and Guerschon Yabusele getting another year of his experience under his belt, that rotation is only going to get deeper. Still, going back to the wing pool is the best move for the Celtics here.

Musa is a 6-foot-8 forward who gets buckets. His 3-point shooting numbers haven’t been great but he’s been forced into a lot of bad attempts as a primary ball-handler and there’s every reason to think he can improve as a catch-and-shoot threat. He can also create his shot off the dribble and finished in the paint with a variety of crafty moves.

Musa can help provide depth in case injuries strike again, or in the event that a home run deal for someone like Anthony Davis emerges with the Celtics needing to trade someone like Yabusele or Jaylen Brown. In addition, it’s possible he could be coaxed into a stash year in Europe, preserving a roster spot but giving Boston another asset for the future.
