3. Dallas Mavericks

Have you heard about the offseason Mavericks? They’re always in the conversation for the big names, but end up settling for Wesley Matthews and Chandler Parsons. At first glance, the Mavericks don’t make much sense. They already have Dunk Contest Isaiah Thomas, Puerto Rican Isaiah Thomas and 10-Day Contract Isaiah Thomas

But now they have a chance to get the real Isaiah Thomas.

The Mavericks are always settling for leftovers. After LeBron James, Paul George, and every other All-Star has made their decision, there’s Dallas, wondering what went wrong. Mark Cuban told them they would be a big star and promised to build the offense around them even though he’s not the coach.

And that’s why Thomas and the Mavericks are a perfect fit. After the year he’s had, Thomas just wants to be loved. He played his heart out in Boston and they traded him for Slightly Taller With A Ring Isaiah Thomas. He tried to fit in with Cleveland and he was dealt for Isaiah Thomas With A Kardashian-Jenner On His Dating Résumé. He never got a chance to show the real him in Los Angeles due to his hip injury.

Thomas needs a healthy relationship right now. And Dallas needs to make another bad signing that will set the team back a couple of seasons. This is a match made in heaven.
