Here are the tee times for Round 1 of the 2018 U.S. Open from Shinnecock Hills.
The 118th edition of the U.S. Open gets underway on Thursday, June 14 from historic Shinnecock Hills, which is hosting this tournament for the first time since 2004 and the fifth time overall. As per usual, the field is absolutely stacked and as an added bonus, there are some rockstar groups for the first two rounds.
The top two players in the world, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson, are paired together and yet they still won’t be getting the bulk of the attention as they’ll be joined by none other than Tiger Woods, who returns to the U.S. Open for the first time in three years.
Two-time U.S. Open winner Rory McIlroy will be joined by 2015 champion Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson, who holds a record six runner-up finishes in this tournament and could complete the career Grand Slam with a victory this week. The all-Spanish trio of Sergio Garcia, Jon Rahm and Rafa Cabrera Bello could be fun to watch as well. Defending champion Brooks Koepka will tee it up the first two days with Jason Day and Bubba Watson in another electric group.
