Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom roars into theaters on June 22, but so far the movie’s Rotten Tomatoes score is more of a whimper.

The latest installment of the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom, opens on June 22. So far, the newest popcorn flick is struggling on Rotten Tomatoes, opening with a 58 percent on the review aggregator as of June 19. That’s not the kind of news the studio was hoping for, to be sure, but there’s still hope that the audiences will have a different opinion.

The only Jurassic Park movie to receive a solid rating on Rotten Tomatoes was the OG of the franchise. Jurassic Park was certified fresh with a 92 percent score, while 2015’s Jurassic World earned a 71 percent from critics and an audience score of 78 percent. Both Jurassic Park II and III were “rotten” with scores below 60 percent.

Does this low score mean that the studio should be worried at this point? Not necessarily. The Jurassic Park movies are known to attract large audiences looking to see dinosaurs come to life on the big screen. Though some of the moments are too intense for young kids, there will still be plenty of kids showing up with their parents to catch the action. The only concern with Fallen Kingdom is that the film deals with heavy ethical dilemmas like whether dinosaurs should be protected like other endangered species.

Fallen Kingdom’s international box office is already roaring, so this might be another instance where critics pan the movie while the audience loves it. The Jurassic Park franchise has been around long enough to bring its legions of fans into theaters, and there are also plenty of moviegoers there to see star Chris Pratt in action. It’s a win-win.
