This week’s Shooter season premiere will resolve last season’s cliffhanger, so we’re telling you how to watch Shooter online and watch Shooter live Thursday to find out if the USA show’s hero doesn’t get, well, shot.

Thursday’s episode “Backroads” picks up not long after season 2 concluded. Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe) has been abducted by the best assassin in the world (read that in your Jeremy Clarkson voice). TV fans aren’t going to be shocked that he survives, because otherwise we wouldn’t have a show.

The question is how he gets out, and naturally there is some other kind of imminent crisis that he’ll need to solve. It’d be a pretty mundane episode if he just escaped and went home to take a nap for the next six hours.

Plus, we’re going to learn more about Bob Lee Swagger’s father. Because many TV characters seem to have a father who’s either got a massive secret and/or is working against them in some fashion. Let’s throw a little family drama in with the assassination attempts!

A surprising piece of information about Bob Lee’s own father sets off a whole new mission, while back in D.C., a mysterious operative begins plotting an attack."
