Jesse Custer is going back to his childhood home in a desperate attempt to save his girlfriend. Here’s how to watch Preacher’s season 3 premiere online.

After a nine-month wait in between seasons, Preacher is back. The second season was a wild rollercoaster ride that saw Jesse Custer and friends deal with both the Saint of Killers and Herr Starr. Since there was a lot to tackle in season 2, it was given a 13-episode order, but season 3 will go back to 10.

The finale itself was an extended episode that left us on a cliffhanger. Jesse had to delay his Messiah tour when he found out that Tulip was bleeding out. Rather than let Cassidy turn her into a vampire, they let her die, but by taking them to Angelville, Jesse seems to have something up his sleeve. However, he’ll also have to come to grips with the fact that he’s seemingly lost his Voice.

The premiere will start at 10 p.m. ET, so be sure to tape the first 30 minutes if you’re watching the Westworld finale. Here’s the synopsis for “Angelville,” according to TV Guide:

"In an effort to save Tulip, Jesse and Cassidy take her to Jesse’s family home, Angelville. Jesse reunites with the people he fears most: his family. The Season 3 premiere."

While the prospect of being the Messiah was an attractive one to Jesse, hopefully this incident will teach him a valuable lesson about leaving his friends behind. Besides, without Genesis, he’s lost the quality that would make him a worthy Messiah in the first place.
