1. Rodney Hood

It’s a shame that Hood’s most memorable moment of the 2017-18 season will be slapping a cell phone out of a fan’s hand.

Hood was once seen as a piece of the post-Hayward Utah Jazz. Then, he got traded to Cleveland, and was regulated to milk carton status. Hood finally got some of his value back in the final two games of the NBA Finals, where he was basically the only role player that stepped up to give Lebron James any help.

Though Hood will be a restricted free agent this offseason, it’s likley that Cavaliers will not bother matching any contract offered to him, and he desperatly needs to head for a team that will value his offensive skill set.

Enter the Celtics.

Boston is in need of bench scoring, and Brad Stevens’ system will give Hood ample times to showcase how valuable he can be as an offensive weapon. Yes, his price tag will be a bit steeper than the other guys on this list, but the Celtics shouldn’t pass up the chance to try to woo Hood to Boston.
