2. Which rookie will have the biggest impact?

The Chiefs came into this year’s draft with a need at multiple positions, but also a sense that they needed to be guys that could come in and play right away if need be. They let a lot of guys go in free agency and via trade and those spots need to be filled.

They didn’t own a first-round pick, and it was extremely unlikely that they would trade into the first-round either. In the second-round they went with Breeland Speaks out of Ole Miss. Fans weren’t sure what they were getting in Speaks but general manager Brett Veach speaks very highly of him, and even said the gap between him and the next player at his position was pretty big.

The Chiefs also brought in a few other players that they hope can have some kind of impact right away. The biggest question is which rookie is going to have the biggest impact for this team?

Considering the Chiefs need to get better at getting after the quarterback it might actually be Speaks. Or maybe Dorian O’Daniel shocks everyone, and turns into a do everything kind of player.

Maybe it’s Armani Watts who is slated to be Ron Parker’s replacement. He was a playmaker at Texas A&M so maybe he can carry that over to the professional level. Who knows what to expect from these rookies, but they’re going to be asked to make plays that’s for sure.
