1. Julius Randle

Last year Julius Randle broke out. He didn’t rebound as much but that was because Brook Lopez was able to handle that responsibility. Instead, he improved his shooting percentage to 55.8 percent and upped his scoring to 16.1 points per game.

He reached his high point last year, but has been steadily improving every year in the league. Let’s start with offense, where he became a more consistent jump shooter. He shot a career best 38.9 percent between 3 and 10 feet last year, which did actually expand his range. At 6-foot-9, he has to continue to improve his shooting. It is something he has improved through his career and the way the NBA is shifting, he is going to have to keep that up.

He has to continue to improve defensively if he wants to fully develop. Randle has improved in every aspect of his game his entire career, and that says a lot about his work ethic. He appears to be the type of player that every team wants and finally has the statistics to validate playing him for major minutes. He has the ability to turn himself into one of the best power forwards in the league.
