With the weekend here, fantasy baseball owners are making one last push to win their matchup. Here are three waiver wire options worth adding.

The end of Week 13 of the fantasy baseball season is here but it’s not over yet. If you are just a home run or win behind your opponent, there is still time to make a move and win your matchup. There are plenty of players on the waiver wire worth rostering for the weekend and beyond.

I will list two batters and a starting pitcher with low ownership percentages. One batter will be a power hitter that can provide home runs and RBIs while the other will be more of a contact hitter used for hits and batting average.

Before we get started, here are some honorable mentions. All ownership percentages will reflect ESPN leagues.

Mark Trumbo (27.1 percent owned), Tucker Barnhart (30.3 percent), Jonathan Loaisiga (23.6 percent).

Jesse Winker, CIN

The Cincinnati Reds have played well recently, winning seven of their last 10 games. One player that has some success in that span is outfielder Jesse Winker. Over his last 15 games, he has hit three home runs and 12 RBIs.

Great American Ballpark is a very hitter-friendly field. The Reds play their next five games at home before returning on July 20. Winker has recently been hitting sixth in the lineup, behind Scooter Gennett and Eugenio Suarez, which gives him some good opportunities to drive in runs.

Winker is owned in just 6.8 percent of leagues. He’s worth an add in NL-only or deeper mixed leagues.

Albert Almora Jr., CHC

The young Cubs outfielder has played in 75 games this season. He is putting up good numbers across the board. In his last 15 games, Albert Almora is hitting .362 (17-for-47) with seven runs scored.

Almora hits all over the Cubs lineup, though recently he has been hitting leadoff. This gives him a few more at-bats per game compared to hitting seventh or eighth. He’ll keep racking up the hits as the Cubs face the Detroit Tigers and Reds in their next two series.

Despite playing every day, Almora is available in almost 81 percent of leagues. Most of the players on the waiver wire are part of a platoon, so it’s hard to find consistency this late in the season.

Mike Minor, TEX

The Texas Rangers decided to take a chance on Mike Minor after his spectacular season with the Kansas City Royals after missing two full seasons. This season hasn’t been like that as much but his last few starts could be a sign of things to come.

The 30-year-old has pitched four straight quality starts with a 2.08 ERA, 0.769 WHIP, 18 strikeouts, five walks and a 2-0 record. Minor makes his next start at home against the Houston Astros on July 4.

That may not seem like the best matchup as the Astros have the best batting average and lowest total strikeouts in June. However, Minor allowed just three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings the last time he faced the Astros. That’s a lot of crooked numbers but the chance of another quality start is there.

He’s owned in just 7.9 percent of leagues. So even if you want to wait out this start and pick him up after, he’ll likely still be available.

These three players aren’t going to produce highlight-worthy numbers every day but they have the ability to be an important utility option. There’s a reason they aren’t highly owned. Though, they are owned in some leagues so be the one person who sees the value in these players.
