Jacksonville Jaguars: Bill Murray

The choice for the most famous fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars was an interesting one, as the award go to a man who is much more synonymous with the Chicago sports landscape. Bill Murray has been a fixture at Chicago Cubs games for years, but his allegiance in the NFL goes with the Jaguars, who are finally rounding into a formidable player in the AFC.

Last season, the Jaguars pulled off an incredible upset in the NFL Playoffs, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in the Divisional Round. In the AFC Championship Game, the Jaguars actually held a ten point lead on the New England Patriots heading into the fourth quarter, but Tom Brady and his magical right arm ruining their chance of advancing to the Super Bowl.

Since the days of Jack Del Rio being the Jaguars head coach, Murray has been a fan of the team, and has been around the Jaguars in the preseason, and during the regular season. The 67-year-old actor, who is best known for his roles in Ghostbusters and Caddyshack to name a few, has even played golf with current Jaguars starting quarterback Blake Bortles.

Murray has another good reason to find himself around the Jaguars, and that is due to the fact one of his restaurants is close by Jacksonville. The Murray Brothers Caddyshack Restaurant is located in Saint Augustine, Florida, and their annual tournament has featured Jaguars players, including the aforementioned Bortles.

The Jaguars have a very solid roster heading into 2018, and a lot of their key players got some great playoff experience last season. The real question is whether or not Bortles is good enough to get them to a Super Bowl, but one thing is for sure, Murray will be on the sidelines if he can happen to pull that off.
