Kansas City Chiefs: Paul Rudd

The Kansas City Chiefs have turned themselves into the most successful team in the AFC West over the past couple of season, winning back-to-back division titles in 2016 and 2017. Led by Alex Smith, the Chiefs have been one of the more dominant regular season teams, but Smith just could not get the over the hump when it came time for the playoffs.

In 2018, the quarterback spot moves to Patrick Mahomes II, who is replacing Smith, who was traded to the Washington Redskins this offseason. Mahomes has a very talented cast around him, and if the team is winning, or losing next season, actor Paul Rudd is certain to stick behind his beloved Chiefs.

Rudd was born in New Jersey, but he moved to Kansas City when he was only 10 years old. His mother worked as a sales manager for a local television station, and so began his love affair with the professional teams in Kansas City. Rudd is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan, and he earns our nod as the Chiefs most famous fan.

Whether he is beating the ceremonial war drum before games, or dressing up like Santa to greet the team after a playoff win, Rudd is the epitome of celebrity fan. He has the means to do whatever he would like when it comes to attending games, and he uses that to his advantage  around football time.

Rudd also went to Kansas, and when the Chiefs were in HBO’s Hard Knocks, he was the one tapped to narrate the show. The 49-year-old is one of the funniest actors around, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but in our mind, he is a Hall of Fame fan.
