New England Patriots: Mark Wahlberg

When it comes to Boston, there is no actor more synyomous with the City than Mark Wahlberg. The famous former singer, and current actor is one of the more recognizable stars in the world, so it would make sense that he would be our choice for the most famous New England Patriots fan out there.

Wahlberg has done a nice job tying in the city on many projects during his career, including movies like Patriots Day, The Departed, and The Fighter. The 47-year-old actually produced Patriots Day, which was an incredible movie based on the Boston Marathon attacks from 2013. He also stars in the film.

When it comes to the New England Patriots, Wahlberg puts as much effort into his fandom as he does his professional career. He is always at the games, and practices, and has got to see his beloved Pats in plenty of Super Bowl since Tom Brady took over as the starting quarterback for the injured Drew Bledsoe.

A native of Dorchester, Massachusetts, Wahlberg also has a very successful burger joint within the Boston area called “Wahlburgers,” which was also the subject of a television show about him and his brothers opening the joint. You could say that Mark’s entire life is based around the area he grew up in, and that is not going to change any time soon.

With Brady getting up there in age, the window for the Patriots could be closing in the next few seasons. Wahlberg has said that the next player to have an impact like Brady could be Baker Mayfield, but he will have to turn around a very bad Cleveland Browns organization to do so.
