San Francisco 49ers: Marisa Miller

The San Francisco 49ers are starting to get their franchise back on track, and that is mostly due to the team’s acquisition of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo during the trade deadline last season. With a star quarterback in place, the 49ers have done a nice job building the roster around him, and the hope is that he can build off the momentum of winning five straight games to finish out the 2017 season.

One person who will be rooting for Jimmy G and company next year is Marisa Miller, who is a lifelong fan of the 49ers. The 39-year-old Victoria Secret and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model grew up in Santa Cruz, and some of her best memories of childhood are watching her beloved 49ers play with her Dad.

At her age, Miller had the luxury of growing up in a time when the 49ers were the best team in football. She grew up watching guys like Jerry Rice, John Taylor, and Joe Montana, all of whom helped the team to multiple Super Bowl wins. Miller remembers those wins fondly, especially the come from behind win against the Cincinnati Bengals thanks to “The Drive.”

In addition to being a huge 49ers fan, Miller also got to be involved with the team at the professional level when the NFL named her a spokesperson for the 2010-11 season. Part of her job was to host the NFL International Series matchup between her beloved 49ers and the Denver Broncos.

With the Oakland Raiders moving out of the Bay Area, only the 49ers will be left to play NFL football in the area. Miller made her decision between the two bay Area teams a long time ago, and it looks like it has certainly worked out for her so far.
