Marvel fans are going nuts over the leaked title of Avengers 4, and the title is awesome if the latest rumors are to be trusted …

The possible Avengers 4 title was revealed on cinematographer Trent Opaloch’s personal website as Avengers: End Game, and Marvel fans are going nuts over it.

After what transpired in Avengers: Infinity War, fans have been understandably confused yet optimistic and hopeful for what the sequel would bring in 2019.

It’s amazing Marvel has been able to keep the title a secret for this long, but it’s hard to blame them for wanting to leave fans on a cliffhanger for once since half the universe was destroyed along with half of our beloved heroes in the most recent film.

Marvel has time to change the title of Avengers 4 if they want to leave things more open-ended because of End Game’s direct implication of something good happening after Thanos achieved the peace he so desperately desired.

In Infinity War, there’s a line of dialogue involving Tony Stark and Doctor Strange, where Strange hands the Time Stone over to Thanos and tells Stark, “We’re in the endgame now.”

As everyone knows having seen the movie and watching these characters develop, Strange was able to see every scenario unfold and said that there was only one scenario where the Avengers ‘won’ out of over 14 million total scenarios.

Perhaps what unfolded at the end of Infinity War was exactly what Strange had seen using the Time Stone, as he reiterated to Stark just before he vanished that it was the ‘only way.’

Therefore, a title of End Game would seem to imply that Strange had things worked out well in advance but what characters needed to be sacrificed permanently that the endgame plays out in the Avengers’ favor?

That will be the burning question over the coming months, and obviously, Marvel didn’t want this news to leak since they have a couple of other movies coming out (Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel) prior to the release of the next Avengers film.

If the title of the new Avengers movie is, in fact, End Game, hope will be restored to the Marvel universe, but at what cost?
