Los Angeles Dodgers: Logan Forsythe

During the 2017 MLB season, the Los Angeles Dodgers proved to be one of the best teams in the National League. In fact, the Dodgers not only won the NL West, but they made a magical run through the playoffs, meeting up with the Houston Astros in the World Series.

While the team did lose in the World Series to the Astros, it was clear that Dave Roberts was a solid choice at manager. In addition, the team played solid baseball from top to bottom, and they came into 2018 as a favorite to get back to the Fall Classic once again.

The 2018 season has been quite a roller coaster for the Dodgers, who have had to deal with an injury to ace Clayton Kershaw. Still, they find themselves only a couple games out of first place, and with Kershaw back, you have to think they will make a run over the summer months.

When it comes to the roster, they could use some help up the middle, especially with star shortsop Corey Seager needing Tommy John Surgery. The Dodgers could throw their name in the mix for Baltimore Orioles star Manny Machado, and a veteran like Logan Forsythe would likely be in the deal.

Forsythe is hitting just above .200 this season, but when he gets regular time, he has proven to be a solid bat in the lineup. In 2015 and 2016, he combined to hit 37 home runs for the Tampa Bay Rays, and has the ability to play multiple positions on defense. He is not the biggest name in baseball, but he can certainly help a ball-club looking to make a run.
