Washington Nationals: Mark Reynolds

Once again, the Washington Nationals are one of the better teams in the National League, and you have to think they are going to make a run to the playoffs this season. They have an incredible collection of talent up and down their lineup, and they have the kind of starting staff needed to win series in the playoffs if they get there.

When it comes to a player they could trade during the summer, Mark Reynolds is a bat that could be deemed expendable. Reynolds smacked 30 home runs as a member of the Colorado Rockies last season, but in a part-time role for the Nats, he has only swatted seven.

He has gotten more time with Ryan Zimmerman on the disabled list, but Zim is close to returning, which would relegate him to an even bigger part-time role. His bat needs to be in the lineup everyday, and a trade may be the best thing for both Reynolds, and the Nationals.

Reynolds still has some pop in his bat, but when Zimmerman returns, it is going to be hard to get him at-bats. Any team that is contending would love his power from the right side, and the Nationals could use a piece or two to help them on their quest to finally win a World Series with Bryce Harper on their roster.

So there you have it, one player from each team that is likeliest to be dealt. Of course, all of this is the opinion of the writer, but when you look at each player, and what they could bring back in return, some of these names will be moved during the trade deadline this year.
