8. Arizona Cardinals

Position – Quarterback, Defensive End, Linebacker

The only thing the Cardinals need to worry about is making use of Larry Fitzgerald’s final seasons. Nothing in football matters more than seeing Fitzgerald get at least one more shot at playing in the Super Bowl. If you’re not rooting for Fitz, we can’t be friends.

Sam Bradford probably isn’t getting Fitzgerald to the Super Bowl. Bradford is a nice quarterback who has thrown just five interceptions in his last 17 games. But he’s not scaring anyone under center The Cardinals gave up the third most sacks in the league last season. Their bright idea to fix this problem was signing someone from the Giants. Bradford will be a sitting duck in the pocket.

LeBron brings a different element. He can use his legs to escape pressure, and there will be pressure, and make plays. He has the accuracy and arm strength to get the ball to Fitzgerald in any situation. To ensure we get Fitz back in the playoffs, we need to give him a guy who does nothing but make the playoffs.

If the Cardinals really want to put their faith in Bradford at quarterback, LeBron can help them defensively. The Arizona defense has been top-5 in the league the past three years, and Steve Wilks will likely keep them there, but they could use an extra pass rusher.

Imagine Chandler Jones on one side and LeBron on the other side in the middle of the defense. If Wilks brings the blitz, and based on his time in Carolina, he will blitz, having Jones and James make for one of the scariest duos in the league.
