Is America’s Got Talent new tonight? Since there’s a holiday in the middle of this week, TV fans may wonder if that’s going to change up the summer TV schedule.
TV viewers can see an episode of America’s Got Talent on NBC tonight; however, it’s not a new episode. Due to the Fourth of July holiday on Wednesday, NBC has decided not to air new shows on Tuesday.
Instead, you’ll get a repeat airing of the season premiere, which is the first auditions episode as well. That includes the performance from acrobatic dance group Zurcaroh, who impressed host Tyra Banks so much that she awarded them the first Golden Buzzer and sent them straight to the live shows.
If you missed the first episode or want a refresher on the first few acts that got through this season, Tuesday is your opportunity to catch up.
As for when the next new installment will be, it’s going to be a while before you get a new serving of Tyra, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B. The show returns next week with its sixth auditions episode airing July 10 at its regular time. Yes, that means there’ll have been over a month of auditions!
That sixth auditions block will be the last one, though, so perhaps this is a good time to look back and familiarize yourself with this season’s acts before the competition actually begins. America still has talent; it just isn’t new talent this Tuesday while TV viewers enjoy the Fourth of July week.
