Brazil vs. Belgium live stream: Watch World Cup online
By Ty Finch
Brazil face Belgium at the Kazan Arena on Friday, July 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Brazil are favorites to make it to the semifinals in their match against Belgium, but this will be their toughest test yet. The selecao have been steady for most of the tournament but have yet to completely dominate a game. This is mostly due to Tite’s preferred style of play, and due to the face that Brazil have one of the best defenses in the world.
They’ve only allowed four shots on target and one goal in four matches. Brazil will need that stellar defense to show up again against the most talented attack they’ve faced thus far, and are going to have to do it without Casemiro, who is suspended due to yellow card accumulation.
Belgium completed a bonkers comeback win with a stellar counter attacking goal in the last minute of stoppage time against Japan to make it to the quarterfinals. While their attack has showed up so far in spades with 12 goals in four matches, their defense has been as shaky. Considering Brazil’s attacking power, this could be bad news for Roberto Martinez and company.
