Uruguay vs. France live stream: Watch World Cup online

France take on Uruguay in the quarterfinals of the World Cup on Friday, July 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It’s arguably the best attack against certainly the best defense when France faces Uruguay. France, one of the few pre-tournament favorites remaining, take on a Uruguay side full of tenacity and steel Friday at Niznhy Novgorod Stadium in Niznhy Novgorod in this last-eight tie.
Both teams won their round of 16 games in very different circumstances. France beat Argentina 4-3 in one of the best games at this tournament. Kylian Mbappe was the star, scoring a brace, dicing Argentina’s defense apart and sending Lionel Messi home. It was the offensive explosion fans have been wanting and expecting from this side.
“Of course, as I’ve already and always said, in the World Cup you have all the top level players so it is an opportunity to show what you can do and what your abilities are,” said Mbappe. “There is no better place than a World Cup.” Mbappe will have to produce more heroics for France to reach the semifinals.
Uruguay advanced off a hard-fought 2-1 win over Portugal, with a brace from Edinson Cavani to send Cristiano Ronaldo and others home. It was a defensive masterclass once more, even if they finally conceded for the first time this tournament. But, all the focus leading into this game has been the status of Cavani, who left the game with a calf injury.
“He was injured and he felt pain,” Tabraez said in his post-match press conference. “We will have an analysis and a diagnosis in time, but right now we are only worried of course. “We don’t know for sure how grave this injury really is.” Girona’s Christian Stuani is likely considered to replace Cavani.
