Welcome to the Saturday edition of WNBA DFS Lineup Advice, a fantasy basketball column dedicated to finding you the best key players and value picks on today’s slate to build your lineups around.

We have 3 WNBA DFS games on the slate today starting at 7pm ET. I managed to squeak by in my GPPs last night. Angel McCoughtry started the game slow but came alive in the second half and saved my night – and any minuscule amount of credibility I’ve built since starting this column. All jokes aside ( I hope you thought that was a joke), lets jump into tonight’s slate, find some key players and value picks to build our lineups around, and go win some money!!!

WNBA DFS Lineup Advice – 7/7/2018

WAS @ LA

The Mystics begin a tough back-to-back on the road tonight against the LA Sparks. They will travel to Seattle tomorrow to take on the surging Storm. If there is one thing the Sparks don’t do well, its rebound the ball. They have struggled from 3pt range, but also shut down other teams outside the of the arch. Washington has been scoring better on the road this season, but I like the Sparks to win at home by a slim margin tonight.

KEY PLAYERS:

Elena Delle Donne – EDD has been very consistent lately but it took her 36 minutes to put up 40 fantasy points last time out against LA. I don’t see her on the floor that much tonight and her price is a little high. She is still a decent cash option but I won’t have much GPP exposure to her.

Candace Parker – I’m not big on Parker today. Her floor is a little lower than some of the other forwards on the slate and her ceiling isn’t the greatest. She has played well in the last few games, and could be a decent cash option, but I’m not gonna force her into my lineups.

Nneka Ogwumike – I think Ogwumike is the better cash option on LA today. Especially on DraftKings where you can save $2,400 in salary. I won’t have a ton of exposure to her today, but I’m willing to take a flyer on her in a few lineups.

VALUE PICKS: Tianna Hawkins (FD)  Myisha Hines-Allen (DK)

MIN @ CHI

The Lynx are in a good spot today against a Chicago team that now carries the worst defensive rating in the league. They haven’t kept an opponent from scoring less than 80 points in their last 10 games. Opposing teams are blocking the Sky’s shots at a rate of 10.6%. After getting upset by the Fever a few games ago I don’t expect the Lynx fall into another trap game.

KEY PLAYERS:

Slyvia Fowles – Fowles is one of my favorite key players on the slate today. She is $500 cheaper than EDD on DraftKings. Coming off a big game against LA, I expect her to double double today and get 2-4 blocks.

Maya Moore – The All-Star vote leader is in a good spot to bounce back today, but I think would rather build around Fowles and some of the mid-tier options on the Lynx. Even after 2 bad games I expect her ownership to stay high on a small slate, hopefully fading her will pay off today.

Courtney Vandersloot – Her price is a little steep today in a tough matchup with plenty of other options on the slate. I won’t have much exposure to Sloot. I would rather play Quigley or DeShields and save some salary cap.

VALUE PICKS: Danielle Robinson (DK &FD) , Cheyenne Parker (FD)

PHOENIX, AZ – JULY 05: Jasmine Thomas #5 of the Connecticut Sun high fives Morgan Tuck #33 and Alex Bentley #20 during the first half of WNBA game against the Phoenix Mercury at Talking Stick Resort Arena on July 5, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona.  (Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)

WNBA DFS Lineup Advice – 7/7/2018

CON @ LV

The Suns travel to Vegas to take on the Aces in the late game on the slate. Alyssa Thomas is doubtful for this game. I expect the Suns to keep her out until Wednesday when they face the Liberty – a win they need in the Eastern Conference. If Thomas and Courtney Williams miss again there should be a lot of value to go around, and it could be a great game stack to build around. It will be important to keep up on any injury news throughout the day.

KEY PLAYERS:

A’ja Wilson – I like Wilson in this game whether Thomas plays or not. The Suns defeated the Aces 101-65 in her WNBA debut, a game I’m sure she hasn’t forgotten. Now she gets a chance for revenge on her home court, a place she has played well recently.  She’s not a lock to have a great game today, but I like her chances.

Kayla McBride –  Her home/away splits also favor her having a good game today, and the match up is decent. She isn’t she safest cash play but she has big GPP upside and is worth rostering in tournaments.

Chiney Ogwumike – Chi-Chi let me down last game but I like her tonight. Her minutes have been off an on, with tonight looking like an ON night. Her ownership might be a bit high with the price and matchup and she is a little risky for cash. I would rather go with her sister on DraftKings but she’s worth GPP consideration on FD. Jonquel Jones is also a decent GPP option up front.

VALUE PICKS: Rachel Banham (FD & DK) *if Williams is out , Kelsey Bone (FD & DK), Morgan Tuck (FD &DK) *if Thomas is out
