Fantasy Baseball 2018: Pitchers to Add for Tuesday July 10th
By Neil Ragavan
This article looks at some starting pitchers for Tuesday, July 10th that you should consider for your Fantasy Baseball lineup
Jhoulys Chacin– Milwaukee Brewers
Opponent: at Miami
After a rough outing against St. Louis on June 24th, Jhoulys Chacin has had two solid fantasy baseball starts against Cincinnati and Atlanta. He struck out 12 and only gave up three earned runs and seven hits over those two starts. He has the opportunity to continue his upward trend against Miami, who scores the third fewest runs at home, and has the second-worst home slugging percentage and OPS. In a rotation that doesn’t have a clear-cut ace, Chacin is becoming a solid anchor that will give the Brewers some security throughout the rest of the year, even if they don’t get another starter at the deadline.

Garrett Richards– Los Angeles Angles
Opponent: vs. Seattle
The Angels have been decimated with injuries, especially in the starting rotation. Garrett Richards has dealt with a variety of injuries over the past few years, but the Angles are hoping he can provide some stability now that he is healthy. His last start came against Seattle on July 4th at Safeco Field. He got the win, going 5.1 innings with eight strikeouts and 2 earned runs. Since May 4th, Richards has not given up more than three earned runs in a start. In three starts against the Mariners this season, he has gone 2-0 with 18 strikeouts and only two walks in 14 innings pitched. He’ll look to continue his success against the Mariners at home.
Rich Hill– Los Angeles Dodgers
Opponent: at San Diego
Hill was dealing with a neck issue in his last start against Pittsburgh, but should be good to go, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register:
While his 4.56 ERA doesn’t look too impressive, he has been pitching much better as of late. In three out of his last four starts, Hill has not given up more than two earned runs, and has struck out 27 hitters while only walking four. He will pitch against a Padres team that has lost seven out of their last ten games, and is 3-7 against the Dodgers this season.
