Welcome to the Tuesday edition of WNBA DFS Lineup Advice, a fantasy basketball column dedicated to finding you the best key players and value picks on today’s slate to build your lineups around.

If Sunday taught me anything it’s that fireworks, Fireball, and WNBA DFS don’t mix well. Don’t worry though – after a day off work I am refreshed, rehydrated, and ready for redemption! So, who else will bounce back today after a rough showing last game? Diana Taurusi? Yvonne Turner? Stefanie Dolson? Keep on reading to find out!

We have 2 WNBA DFS games on the main slate today starting at 8pm ET. The Sparks and the Storm play at 3pm ET, but for this article I will only be covering the two games later in the evening. After a weekend of smaller payouts Fanduel is back up to $10,000 for a first place win. That’s where I will be focusing most of my GPP efforts today, on DraftKings I will stick to cash games. So without further ado, let’s jump into the slate, find some key players and value picks to build our lineups around, and go win some money!

WNBA DFS Lineup Advice – 7/10/2018

PHO @ DAL

Surprisingly Vegas has Dallas as 1.5 point favorites in this game. I’m not sure the loss of Sancho Lyttle has impacted the Mercury enough to make me favor Dallas in this game. But the Wings are a tough team, I expect this game to stay close and there could be some nice value plays on the Phoenix side of the ball I’m interested in. I’m not talking about you Yvonne Turner! It’s over between us….for now.

KEY PLAYERS:

Diana Taurasi – The Wings rank near the middle of the league when it comes to defending guards. Diana is projected to get about 34 FP today. I’m not quite ready to fade her after one bad game, but her price was a much easier to swallow back in mid June. I will have very little exposure to her today. But if you are going to pay up for a guard, she is one of the safer options today.

Britney Griner – Griner has good matchup on paper tonight going against a Dallas front court that gives up 7.5 rebounds, and just under 30 fppg to starting centers. With Sancho she has still only managed to pull down 6 rebounds in the last 2 games. Dallas hasn’t been giving up a lot of baskets to centers, she will need to have a good defense game to hit value tonight.

DeWanna Bonner –  She has a great matchup on paper today, hence the high price. I think she’s a better value on DraftKings today over Taurasi. Dallas is giving up 7.5 field goals a game, 8.1 rebounds, and around 40 ppg to starting forwards. I will have some exposure to her today, but I think there are guards with higher ceilings on the slate for GPPs. She is a fine cash play today though.

Liz Cambage – Cambage has a slight edge on Griner when it comes to usage rate. The matchup isn’t the best, but the Wings should rely on her heavily to keep them in the game. Phoenix has been holding opposing centers to under 20 ppg though, rebounds won’t come easy, and she hasn’t been playing a ton of minutes lately.  Not sure I want much exposure to her today.

Skylar Diggins-Smith – If I am going to pay up for a Dallas player today it will probably be Diggins-Smith. I think her ownership will be a little lower than Cambage, despite a big game against NY last time out.  Phoenix gives up more fantasy points against guards, and Diggins-Smith should play more minutes than Liz. I’m not rushing to get her in my lineups, but I will have some exposure to SDS today.

WNBA DFS Lineup Advice – 7/10/2018

LV @ CHI

The Aces travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Sky in the second game on the slate. Las Vegas is looking for its third win in a row,  but apparently the bookies back home don’t like their chances on the road. Chicago are 4 point favorites, but I like the Aces to win this game. Both teams play at a relatively fast pace and have poor defense ratings. I like stacking some of the value from the first game with the stars from this one for my GPPs today.

KEY PLAYERS:

A’ja Wilson – She has the highest projected point total on the slate today and is in a great matchup with Chicago. The Sky are giving up around 35 fppg in the paint to starters, and Wilson has been solid on the road. I expect her ownership to be high today, and I will fade her in a few of my lineups just to get an edge on the crowd if she flops. That said, she is one of my favorite plays on the slate today and should crush once again.

Kayla McBride – McBride roasted Chicago last time out and put about 45 fantasy points. Her price has gone up a little bit, and I’m not sure if I’m will to pay it today hoping that she has a repeat of her last performance. There are other guards on LV that I would rather pay down for today (Plum,Young),

Courtney Vandersloot –  Sloot could be a sneak play today. The matchup is good.  Vegas  is giving up 5.4 assists per game to point guards, and around 30 fantasy points per game. She’s a bit of a risky play, but I think she can bring back that 6x value we are looking for in our GPPs today.

Diamond DeShields – Her price jumped up on Fanduel but it’s actually down a few hundred bucks on DraftKings. The point total should be high in this game, and her matchup is decent but I don’t want much exposure to her today. If you are gonna play her do it on DK.

Stefanie Dolson – She barely put up 2 fantasy points last game out. Vegas is nearly giving up 30 fppg to starting centers, but I’m still not very interested in Dolson today. I would rather play Cheyenne Parker today, she’s a little riskier, but I think you can get more GPP value out of her.
