France vs. Croatia live stream: Watch World Cup final online
France play Croatia on Sunday, July 15, at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow in the World Cup final. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
France and Croatia lock horns on Sunday in Moscow with the World Cup on the line. France, champions in 1998, meet Croatia, for the first time in a major tournament final, at Luzhniki Stadium.
Both teams enter the match under very different circumstances.
Croatia have played in three straight extra-time games (two went to penalties), the equivalent of one more game compared to France. Croatia defeated Denmark and Russia in the round of 15 and quarterfinals, respectively, both via penalty shootouts. They defeated England 2-1 this past Wednesday in extra time.
The Croatians also have one fewer day of rest heading into the 21st World Cup championship. Croatia, making their first appearance in a World Cup final, are the 13th national team to reach the title game.
France have dominated opponents in the knockout stage, winning all three of their games in regulation: Argentina in the round of 16, Uruguay in the quarterfinals and Belgium this past Tuesday in the semis.
France-Croatia is also a rematch of the 1998 World Cup semifinal won by Les Bleus at home.
