Sue Bird made WNBA History yesterday when it was announced that she will be appearing in her 11th WNBA All-Star game. After a rough game against Dallas will she be able to bounce back and carry your team into the money today?

SEA @ CHI

The Sky have the worst defensive ranking in the league at 109.1, against Seattle this year that number drops to 115.8. The Storm are second in the league in scoring at 87.1 points per game, that number increases to 95.5 when playing the Sky. If you like betting on point totals this is a good game to take the over on. The winning GPP lineup yesterday on Fanduel had 6 players from the early game, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw that again today.

KEY PLAYERS:

Breanna Stewart – Stewart has an offensive rating of 120.4 and a usage rate of 28% in two games against Chicago this year. She’s been putting up solid numbers night after night and there’s no reason that should change today. LineStar has her projected to score 47.73 points on Fanduel. That sounds about right to me. I will have plenty of exposure to Stewart in my lineups today. She’s the only player on the slate that feels like safe bet today.

Allie Quigley/Diamond DeShields– They may not have the upside of a player like Jewell Loyd or Courtney Vandersloot but both Quigley and DeShields have played well against Seattle this year. Together they lead the Sky in usage % and have the best offensive ratings against the Storm this year. I prefer Quigley for cash today and Diamond for my GPPs.

VALUE PICKS:  Astou Ndour (FD & DK)  Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (FD & DK) *if she plays

Crystal Langhorne (DK & FD)

Rebekkah Brunson and Sylvia Fowles have been a force to be reckoned with in the paint this year for the Lynx. After missing a few games with a thigh injury Brunson could be returning to action today. Follow me on Twitter for any updates in her status.

IND @ MIN

The Fever and the Lynx meet at 1pm ET today. The O/U and spread isn’t out for this game yet but I’m expected it to be point total to be low and heavily in Minnesota’s favor. Indiana has the second worst defensive rating in the league at 105.9 giving up an average of 85.1 points per game. The Lynx need a win after dropping their last two games. We will have to keep an eye on the status Rebekkah Brunson today. There may be some DFS value picks and mid-tier options to take a look at in this game, but I won’t have too much exposure to the stars in this matchup.

KEY PLAYERS:

Sylvia Fowles – Fowles is the only star from this game I want any exposure to in my GPP lineups. Nothing about the matchup stands out on paper, but she has one of the highest ceilings on the slate on any given day. LineStar has Fowles projected to score 37.22 points on Fanduel. She won’t be knocking down any three pointers and Indiana is stingy on the glass but Fowles is worth throwing in a few lineups today due to her high ceiling and lack of good options in the paint on this short slate.

Natalie Achonwa – Achonwa is in play for me today. The matchup doesn’t look good, but Achonwa has played well against MIN this year.  Her minutes can be an issue but she has played 25+ mins in each game against the Lynx this year.  Like Quigley she is another player that may lack upside for GPPs, but she is a decent cash option today for your lineups.

VALUE PICKS: Cappie Pondexer (FD)  Lindsay Whalen (FD)  Danielle Robinson (DK &FD)

Temi Fagbenle (FD) *if Brunson misses.
