Here’s how you can watch Shark Week’s Ronda Rousey Uncaged special online via live stream or right on your television.
Discovery Channel will air its Ronda Rousey Uncaged special tonight as part of its popular Shark Week at 10 p.m. ET/PT. You can catch the action online with Discovery’s official live stream. WWE’s Ronda Rousey will train with Australian Navy Diver / Shark attack survivor Paul De Gelder through three rounds of survival against bull sharks. All leading up to a historic swim featuring Rousey uncaged with Mako sharks. It looks like Rousey is using up that ‘WWE suspension’ by Raw GM Kurt Angle productively.
It’s pretty much a certainty both WWE and UFC fans alike will tune in to see Rousey, not to mention the lead-in for her special will feature NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal. It’s the 30th anniversary of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week and they’re bringing out the full arsenal of mega stars to celebrate the occasion. Shark Week is doing impressive numbers for the network as always, leading Discovery to two out of three top spots last Friday according to TVByTheNumbers. Shaq and Rousey having their own one-hour specials back-to-back means massive ratings for Discovery and revitalized interest from casuals in their attached brands (WWE, Inside the NBA).
Ronda Rousey has posted a Shark Week workout to get viewers out of their seats/couches and ready physically. That’s five push ups for every time you see a shark making a fellow pal of the seas into an unfortunate snack.
Put that seal blubber into action with @RondaRousey's #SharkWeek workout. 🥊

shark snack snag = 5 push-ups

dorsal fin = 15 jumping jacks
close shark encounter = 10 squats

Rousey will be confronting one of humanity’s most natural fears when she dives underwater, coming face to face with one of the sea’s apex predators. It should be noted that beyond the cameras, swimming with sharks is no joke and a very serious matter. According to Newsweek, Paul De Gelder lost both an arm and a leg while swimming in Sydney Harbor back on February 2008 from a bull shark attack. Rousey will obviously be listening intently to every last detail De Gelder recommends during her training to swim uncaged among Mako sharks. There is no room for error.
