But don’t worry. Pose will return next year with brand new episodes, and we’ll surely be hanging for dear life on the edge of a cliff after Mother of the Year is crowned. With new mothers rising from established houses, it’s anyone’s game. Although there’s one clear mother worthy of snagging that prestigious title, and that’s Blanca.

Last week, Blanca faced a family upheaval she never anticipated after discovering Lil Papi was dealing drugs. Forced to step up and enforce her house rules, she kicked Lil Papi out, but he wasn’t down and out for long (though he did spend a night in the slammer). When Elektra finds her comfortable living situation in uncertain circumstances, Candy and Lulu leave the House of Abundance and found the House of Ferocity. They welcome Lil Papi and stand as the next big threat for Blanca, Elektra, and anyone who dare step in their path to stardom.

Who will rise through the ranks and earn the title of Mother of the Year? Is Elektra eligible to compete for the crown even though the House of Abundance has all but dissolved? Will Elektra land on her feet after losing everything? Can the House of Ferocity make a name for themselves on arrival? Also, will Stan finally make up his mind, or will he continue to string Angel and Patty along?
