Welcome to the Tuesday edition of WNBA DFS Lineup Advice, a fantasy basketball column dedicated to finding you the best key players and value picks on today’s slate to build your lineups around.

Today is the last multi-game slate for a week ladies and gents. We have four WNBA DFS games  starting at 7pm ET. Tomorrow features a single game showdown between the Chicago Sky and the Phoenix Mercury. After that we will have to wait until next Tuesday for the action to resume again.

First off,  there’s going to be a lot injury news to keep an eye on today that could impact the slate. I will do my best to get more info on the situation, so don’t forget to follow me on Twitter for updates before lock. The entry fees are a bit steep today, we don’t want to waste our money with bad picks or late scratches.  So let’s jump into the slate, find some key players and value picks to build our lineups around, and go win some money!!!

WAS @ CON – 7pm

The Mystics and the Suns are fighting for position in the Eastern Conference. Both teams have high powered offenses capable of putting up big points, but the Suns have the defensive edge in this game. At this point, this game has the highest point total on the slate with the lowest spread but I’m not too excited about it from a DFS standpoint. There may be some value picks to pull from here but I won’t have too much exposure to the stars in this matchup.

KEY PLAYERS:

Elena Delle Donne –  LineStar has EDD projected to score 43.77 on Fanduel.  It’s not in the best spot for her, but most of the studs upfront have tough matchups today. She’s played well against CON in twice already this year, so has Latoya Sanders. I will have some exposure to both of them today, bit I’m leaning towards Sanders in my GPP lineups.

Jasmine Thomas – It’s no secret that fading the stars from the Suns has been one of my preferred DFS plays recently. Alyssa Thomas has been mediocre this year, Chi-Chi’s floor scares me, and the back court has struggled since starting the year off hot. That a said I think Thomas is in decent spot today, and makes a viable cash option for your lineups. She hasn’t showed much upside since mid June, but at this price she could hit GPP value today.

VALUE PICKS: Shekinna Stricklen (FD)  Tierra Ruffin-Pratt (FD & DK) *if Cloud misses

SEA @ IND – 7pm

The Storm are in a good spot today to bounce back after a tough loss to Atlanta on the road. Indiana has the worst net rating in the league at -11.7 and gives up an average of 85 points per game. Seattle has the highest offensive rating in the league at 107.6 and average 86.8 points per game. The Storm are heavy favorites and there is blowout potential here, but I will still have some exposure to this game.

KEY PLAYERS:

Breanna Stewart – I am on the fence with Stewart today. Loyd gets a better matchup, but we have seen Sylvia Fowles and and Candace Parker both exploit Indiana upfront recently and put up big numbers. Stewie struggled on the glass the last time these two teams met. She’s taken over 20 shots in two out of her last four games though, and is capable of putting up big numbers on any given night.

Candice Dupree – Dupree has shown a bit of consistency lately, scoring in double digits in her last four games. I’m not sure thats gonna be enough to make her a strong GPP play today, but she’s a decent option for your cash lineups. Achonwa has a little more upside at this price, but her minutes and floor are not as safe as Dupree’s.

VALUE PICKS:  Crystal Longhorne (FD & DK) , Cappie Pondexter (FD)

NY @ MIN – 8pm

The Liberty and the Lynx will meet in the land of a thousand lakes to kick off the late slate on Fanduel. Minnesota is looking for their third consecutive win, NY has lost three-in-a-row. Both teams play at a relatively slow pace, and neither team averages over 80 points a game. I expect a low scoring affair, but there are still some players to target here. Just keep in mind that NY vs ATL turned into garbage time quick the other day, the Dallas game wasn’t much better. There may be some value on NY if players like Prince and Zellous miss again, but I won’t have enough entries to throw darts at their back court today.

KEY PLAYERS:

Maya Moore – Maya finally got her mojo back against the Mercury, putting up 38 points and leading the Lynx to victory. She’s had a 27% usage rate in two games against NY this year, and put up almost 40 fantasy points both times. That said, her ceiling isn’t high enough for GPPs and she still doesn’t feel safe enough for cash at this price. I would rather pay up a little for Fowles today, who is hungry for a bounce back game of her own and has a higher ceiling.

Tina Charles –  Charles get a tough matchup today against one of the best interior defenders in the league. It’s not a spot she has done well in this year, and I don’t want be paying up for her today. If you are looking for a contrarian play upfront Charles or Thomas might be the way to go, but I’m not betting on them to give me an edge on the crowd today.

VALUE PICKS:  Sugar Rodgers (FD & DK) *if she starts  Danielle Robinson (FD ), Erlana Larkins (FD & DK)

ATL @ LA – 10:30pm

The Atlanta Dream have been a nightmare for WNBA teams lately. They have won seven games in a row, and climbed their way to the top of the Eastern Conference. The Sparks are 8-5 at home this year, while Atlanta had struggled a bit on the road. Both teams have some of the best defensive ratings in the league and I don’t expect to see a high point total of of this game. If LA is healthy I won’t have much exposure to this game. That said, if Beard or Ogwumike miss again there are few targets on both sides of the ball I like.

 KEY PLAYERS:

Candace Parker – Parker has been a beast lately, if Ogwumike sits again I wan’t some exposure to her today. That said, Ogwumike has been upgraded to questionable, and it’s looking more and more like she will suit up for tonight’s game. When looking at her splits, we can see she has played a little better on the road, and doesn’t fair as well after only 1 day of rest. Without Ogwumike on the floor though I expect Atlanta to double up on Parker and make life hard for her tonight, something Chicago and Indiana didn’t have the bodies to do. It may be time to get off the Parker Express before it stops in flop town.

Jessica Breland – If I’m paying this much to roster someone I want them playing at least 30 minutes a game. Breland doesn’t make a habit of that, but she does produce when she’s on the floor. She has shown some upside this year and she’s taking more shots lately, but at this price there are other options on the board I would rather pivot to (Chi-Chi, Nneka, Alyssa Thomas).

VALUE PICKS:  Jantel Lavender (FD) *if Ogwumike misses, Monique Billings (FD & DK)

Riquna Williams (FD & DK) *if Simms misses
