1. Vinnie Hinostroza

  • Plays a full season
  • Over 20 goals
  • Might see regular first line action

Keep a really good eye on Hinostroza in the upcoming campaign. The Illinois product is probably the biggest factor to deciding the winner of the Marian Hossa exchange.

The American could be seen as a younger version of Brandon Saad just before he broke out into a prime NHL player. The tools are in front of Hinostroza, he just needs to use every piece to fit right into the Coyotes’ puzzle.

What’s really going to help the American’s production is the arrival of Galchenyuk. If Galchenyuk features at center, that’s less of a hassle for Hinostroza to worry about, and more of a focus into collecting more points on the second line.

In playing 50 games on the depth lines of the Chicago Blackhawks in the last campaign, the 24-year-old managed seven goals and 18 assists. More games last season for the winger surely would have resulted in more points, and the same should stay in the desert.

This time around, Hinostroza will get to play with an exciting trio involving Galchenyuk and Brendan Perlini; both of whom have good point share totals.

It’s an exciting time for a promising player that could be a lock on towards the top lines of the Arizona offense for many years ahead.
