9. Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals

There’s no place like home and Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton happens to live in the very place that claims to have invented the game of cornhole, making him a shoo-in for the top ten of our list. Despite the last two disappointing seasons, Dalton has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in franchise history, helping lead the club to five consecutive playoff appearances from 2011-15.

Not only is Dalton lucky enough to be the most handsomely-paid redhead in the NFL, he also gets to play in the Cornhole Mecca of the United States, Cincinnati, as explained in this piece from future Pulitzer winners, Cornhole Antics:

"Cincinnati, Ohio likes to lay claim to the original area where bags were filled with kernels and tossed into plywood holes. It is hard to argue with this claim if you understand how insanely popular cornhole is in Cincinnati. If you go to any backyard party in an Ohio home today there’s a very good chance that you’ll find lots of food, beer and cornhole."

Food, beer, and cornhole? Sign me and likely cornhole expert Andy Dalton up!

Thankfully, if you were wondering about the true evidence that Cincinnati is really responsible for the invention of the greatest game in the world, Cornhole Antics settles it for you at the end of the article:

"So at the beginning of this article we told you we would settle, once and for all, the origins of the game of cornhole. That would actually be too easy. The truth is that the history of cornhole still remains a mystery. We’ll let you be the judge. Who knows the real history of cornhole? If you have your own version please share it with us below. We would all love to hear your story."

I guess we’ll never know!
