It has been a long time since the Knicks were winners. The marquee franchise has been primarily bad for 20 years and the NBA has thrived anyway. Don’t let anyone tell you big market teams need to be good for the NBA to succeed!

The Captain used to put fear into his opponents, King went toe-to-toe with Larry Legend, and the Ewing Knicks fought admirably against Jordan’s reign of terror.

The Knicks were on the up-and-up prior to the Anthony trade, they might be in that position again with the young core they’ve built around Kristaps Porzingis. Will they stick with this green squad or will history repeat itself with the likes of Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler on the trade market?
