Welcome to the Tuesday edition of WNBA DFS Lineup Advice, a fantasy basketball column dedicated to finding you the best key players and value picks on today’s slate to build your lineups around.

It’s great to be back after the WNBA DFS All-Star break. I hope everyone enjoyed the week off and got some time to relax. We have three WNBA DFS games on the slate today starting at 7 p.m. ET. I have made a few slight changes to the way the articles are laid out including a Final Thoughts section. I also moved the over/under and spread to be included in the game preview now, instead of having them listed separately at the beginning of the article. Let me know what you think about the changes in the comments.  Now that we have that out the way, let’s dig into the slate, find some key players and value picks to build around, and go win some money!!!

Team Delle Donne came up short against Team Parker in the WNBA All-Star game over the weekend, losing by a score of 112-119. Will she have what it takes to take YOU to the money today? Keep reading to find out.

7 p.m. ET  Washington Mystics (14-11) vs. Atlanta Dream (16-9)  164 O/U ATL -3

WASOff  rating 105.7 Def rating 103.8  Pace 79.6  Off ppg  84.1  Def ppg 82.7

ATL  –  Off rating 96.5  Def rating  95.9  Pace  82.1  Off ppg 79.3  Def ppg 78.6

Key Players from the game:

Elena Delle Donne – She has played well on the road this year, scoring almost six more points per game away from home. She only made 36.1% of her field goal attempts against ATL this season though, and rebounds may be hard to come by. LineStar has her projected to score 42.11 points on Fanduel. I won’t be rushing to stick her in my lineups today, but it might be hard to stay away from her on a short slate like this.

Value Picks: Monique Billings (FD & DK) *if Dantas is out

8 p.m. ET   Chicago Sky (9-17) vs. Dallas Wings (14-11)  181.5 O/U  DAL -9.5

CHI –  Off  rating 101  Def rating 110  Pace 81.0  Off ppg  82.6   Def ppg  90

DAL–  Off rating  106.4  Def rating 101.2  Pace 82.4  Off ppg  87.9  Def ppg  83.3

Key Players from the game:

Liz Cambage – She is averaging 22.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. She get’s a great matchup and has scored 100+ fantasy points combined in 2 games against CHI this year. Her minutes per game were trending up before the break, I don’t expect her to slow down anytime soon.

Skylar Diggins-Smith – The guards on DK today are considerably cheaper than the bigs. I will have some exposure to her there. She makes a decent option on FD today for GPPs on a slate where upside may be hard to find in the backcourt.

Courtney Vandersloot – I like Sloot a little more than SDS today. She’s under 10k on DK and should play with a chip on her shoulder after getting faded from the All-Star Game. If Chicago has a chance of winning this game it will be on the shoulders of Sloot.

Value Picks: Kahleah Copper (FD & DK)  Kaela Davis (FD & DK)

PHOENIX, AZ – JULY 05: Diana Taurasi #3 of the Phoenix Mercury drives the ball against Brionna Jones #42 of the Connecticut Sun during the first half of WNBA game at Talking Stick Resort Arena on July 5, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona (Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images) /

Diana Taurasi returns from her one-game suspension tonight to help her team weather the storm against Seattle. How much exposure to her do you want in your WNBA DFS lineups today? Find out below.

10 p.m. ET   Seattle Storm (19-7)  vs. Phoenix Mercury (15-11)  166 O/U  PHO +1

SEA Off  rating 107.8   Def rating  98.5  Pace  79.9  Off ppg  87  Def ppg  79.5

PHO – Off rating  103.9   Def rating 101.7  Pace 80.2  Off ppg  83.4  Def ppg  81.6

Key Players from the game:

Breanna Stewart – Leads the league in scoring at 22.8 points per game. She doesn’t have the best matchup and is priced up on DK but I still want some exposure to Stewie. LineStar has her projected to score 43.57 points on Fanduel. That sound’s about right.

Jewell Loyd – I don’t think I will be paying up for Loyd today. She had become fantasy relevant again after a few good games before the break, but I’m not sure this is the matchup for her. Bird’s price is up too, I’ll pass on both of them today.

Diana Taurasi – Takes 8.4 attempts a game from beyond the arc. Leads the league in free-throw percentage, is 4th in scoring, and averages almost 5 assists per game. Is there anything she can’t do on the court? If I pay up for a guard today it’s gonna be Taurasi, Sloot, or SDS.

Value Picks:  Crystal Langhorne (FD & DK) , Angel Robinson (FD)  Camille Little (DK)

FINAL THOUGHTS

  1. Stacking the CHI vs. DAL game will be one of the more popular plays of the day. There’s plenty of mid-tier options to build around here. For a stars and scrubs type of lineup though, I would pick my punts elsewhere on the slate.
  2. A lot of people will chase points in the paint today. Paying up for a few guards could give you the edge you need in your GPPs.
  3. Fades: Jewell Loyd. Angel McCoughtry
  4. Pivots: EDD/Sanders, Cambage/Thorton
  5. Injuries that could impact slate: Natasha Cloud, Damiris Dantas.
