Everything you need to know from the Vans US Open 2018: Date, time, stream for men’s skate finals.
The historic and uber-popular Vans US Open takes to Huntington Beach, CA this week with festivities kicking off on July 28 and wrapping up Aug. 5. Competitors from all over the world will compete in three disciplines — surf, skate, and BMX and we promise to keep you in the loop every step of the way.
Though not all of the men’s skate events will be streamed online, we have compiled a list of the events that you can view online listed below:
Friday, Aug. 3
SKATE
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – VPS Global Qualifiers – Men’s Prelims
Saturday, Aug. 4
SKATE
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – VPS Global Qualifiers – Women’s Finals
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – VPS Global Qualifiers – Men’s Semifinals
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – VPS Global Qualifiers – Men’s Finals
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – VPS Global Qualifiers – Awards and Post Show
Competing in men’s skate are Pedro Barros (23) from Florianopolis, Brazil, Tom Schaar (18) from Malibu, CA, and Chris Russell (21) from Hermosa Beach, CA among many others.
The women competing in the same event are Lizzie Armanto (25) from Santa Monica, CA, Jordyn Barratt (19) from Haleiwa, HI, and Brighton Zeuner (13) from Encinitas, CA.
If you are local you can view the competitions in-person at the Huntington Beach Pier which is located at Main Street & Pacific Coast Highway. Parking and event info can be found here.
The skateboarding events will be held at the Vans Pro Park, which will be set up at the base of the pier near the Vans corner store.
