Welcome to the Friday edition of WNBA DFS Lineup Advice, a fantasy basketball column dedicated to finding you the best key players and value picks on today’s slate to build your lineups around.

Ouch…well, I expected the money line to be lower than usual last night, but I also thought I would end up on the right side of it.  The Fever won at home against a short-handed Dallas team. The Lynx got licked on the road, and face another tough opponent tonight. We have three WNBA DFS games starting at 7 p.m. ET and plenty of players to consider. So let’s go over the slate, find the best key players and value picks to build our lineups around, and go win some money!!!

For those of you stopping by for the first time, I would like to thank you for checking out WNBA DFS Lineup Advice here at FantasyCPR.com Here is a brief summary of what I cover in each article:

The Aces lost to Phoenix at home on Wednesday 104-93. A’ja Wilson led the way with 29 points but it wasn’t enough to come away with the win. She’s in a good spot today against Washinton. Will she return value tonight in your lineup? Keep reading to find out.

7 p.m. ET   Chicago Sky  (10-17)  vs. Atlanta Dream  (16-10)  171 O/U ATL -9

CHI – Off rating 101.5    Def rating 110.3  Pace  80.9  Off ppg  83  Def ppg   90
ATL -Off rating 96.2  Def rating 96.3   Pace  82   Off  ppg  79   Def ppg  78.8

Key Players:

Courtney Vandersloot – Sloot has been playing well lately but I’m not sure I want to pay up for her today. Tiffany Hayes has a much better matchup on the other side of the ball and is cheaper, especially on DraftKings. LineStar has Sloot projected to score 35.85 points on DraftKings. That feels a little high.

Elizabeth Williams – Williams is the only big for Atlanta that has played consistently well against Chicago this year. She is averaging about 28 fantasy points per game against CHI. She doesn’t have much GPP upside, but makes a decent cash option today for your lineups. If you are looking for upside I would play Breland.

Value Picks:  Monique Billings (FD & DK)  *if Dantas misses

7 p.m. ET Las Vegas Aces  (12-14)  vs. Washington Mystics  (15-11)  170.5  WAS -6

LV – Off rating  99.6   Def rating 102.1   Pace  83.2   Off ppg   83.4   Def ppg   85.3
WAS – Off rating  105.8   Def rating   103.2   Pace  79.6  Off ppg   84.2  Def ppg  82.3

Key Players:

Elena Delle Donne – EDD has one of the best matchups on the slate and her price reflects it. LineStar has her projected to score 41.24 points on Fanduel. I expect her ownership to jump back up today after being around 11% on Fanduel vs. Atlanta. There’s no reason on paper not to play EDD today (besides the price), but if you want to get contrarian you might want to leave her out of your lineups.

A’Ja Wilson – The Rookie put up 29 points last time out but it wasn’t enough for the W. She get’s a good matchup today, and always make a decent option for GPPs. LineStar has her projected to score 40.41 points on Fanduel. McBride is in play today too, especially on DK where you can pick up a top guard for around 3k cheaper than the forwards.

Value Picks:  Carolyn Swords (FD & DK)  Monique Currie (FD)

WNBA DFS: LAS VEGAS, NV – MAY 27: Jewell Loyd #24 of the Seattle Storm drives to the basket against Tamera Young #1 and A’ja Wilson #22 of the Las Vegas Aces during the Aces’ inaugural regular-season home opener at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on May 27, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jewell Loyd has been leading the way again for Seattle scoring atleast 20 points in three out of their last 5 games. Will she keep shining today against a tough Minnesota defense? Find out below.

10 p.m. ET   Minnesota Lynx  (15-11)  vs. Seattle Storm  (20-7)  162  O/U  SEA -5.5

MIN – Off rating 99.9   Def rating  97.9  Pace 78.7   Off ppg 78.5   Def ppg 77
SEA – Off rating 108.3   Def rating  98.8    Pace 80.1  Off ppg   87.6   Def ppg  79.9

Key Players:

Breanna Stewart – Stewie is in a bit of a tough spot, but Minnesota should be tired after playing the Sparks on the road yesterday. I had her in my lineups on Tuesday but switched to EDD at the last second. LineStar has her projected to score 42.88 points on DraftKings. I won’t have much exposure to her today. Natasha Howard has been playing well recently and we saw what Parker did to Minnesota last night. She is no Candace Parker, but makes a decent GPP pivot today, and she be low owned.

Jewell Loyd –  Loyd is another player that I have more interest in today on DraftKings than Fanduel. She isn’t safe enough for cash, and I won’t have too much exposure to her in my GPPs but she has shown some upside again lately. LineStar has her projected to score 33.15 points on Fanduel. If you are gonna play anyone from the other side of the ball I would suggest Fowles. Moore had a good game against SEA too, but she carries a little more risk.

Value Picks: Danielle Robinson (FD)  Crystal Langhorne (FD & DK)

FINAL THOUGHTS

  1.  The LV/WAS game seems like the game to stack today. The pricing won’t make it easy though, and a lot of people will be targeting it. The CHI/ATL game might be a good pivot and an easier place to find value to build around.
  2.  Minnesota is on the second night of a back to back. Their bigs upfront didn’t play a ton of minutes yesterday and should be good to go tonight. Maya Moore should have low ownership and could give you a nice edge in GPPs if she has a good game.
  3.  The over/under for the MIN/SEA game is 162. Seattle can score 100 points by themselves on any given night. I’ll take the over in this one.
  4.  If you want to spend up at guard do it on DraftKings where you will get much more value for your dollar.
  5. Injuries that could impact the slate: Damiris Dantas (Ques)
