3. Equanimeous St. Brown, Green Bay Packers

Year after year Aaron Rodgers helps relatively unknown wide receivers make a name for themselves. Most recently that group includes Geronimo Allison and Ty Montgomery.

Things are a little different this year after some turnover in the offseason. Parting ways with Jordy Nelson caused some waves and it will take time to find his replacement.

Davante Adams jumps into the No. 1 receiver role with Randall Cobb still in the mix. The No. 3 job seems to belong to Allison, but that’s far from a stable position. Things get really interestingĀ  at the No. 4 spot.

This is where rookie Equanimeous St. Brown could emerge as a contributor. He’s an extremely talented player with excellent size and quickness.

St. Brown slipped to the sixth round due to his inconsistency at Notre Dame. Basically, he never really lived up to the hype surrounding his raw talent. Some of that had to do with erratic play of Notre Dame’s quarterbacks.

A report at the Acme Packing Company talked about how St. Brown is starting to separate himself from the rest of the competition.

His main competition seems to be DeAngelo Yancey and J’Mon Moore. However, for fantasy purposes Allison is the one to watch. St. Brown could easily steal targets away from Allison with some early season success.
