Second line: Dylan Strome-Alex Galchenyuk-Vinnie Hinostroza

Alex Galchenyuk has the best chance of his entire career to turn himself into a star in the league. The spotlight is finally off of his back coming out of Montreal. In the desert, he can play quiet, yet captivating hockey in a clean offense.

Tocchet needs to stick his new forward to one position, something that Galchenyuk didn’t have in Montreal. Since Dylan Strome has been on the wing for a heavy portion of his young career in the NHL, Tocchet should let Galchenyuk play more centrally. This, of course, means that the 24-year-old needs to work on face-offs.

One thing that cannot be doubted is the serious potential this line has to do some damage. The question mark around Hinostroza at the moment is whether or not playing a full season can do a massive wonder to his point total. The American only played 50 games last season in Chicago, but still managed to pump out a great total of seven goals and 18 assists on a depth line.

Strome is eyeing a big season this year, so hopefully that humbleness will pay off. The Erie Otter product needs a touch of work on his skating, but if work is put in, the 20-year-old can enjoy a prime season with two new and promising faces.

Overall, this line has the best chance of contributing the most points to Arizona in the upcoming season. Hopefully that prediction stays true by next April.
