Carolina Panthers – DJ Moore

After a successful season in 2017, Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers are hopeful that they can edge out the New Orleans Saints for the division. Cam Newton and the offense will need to come through in a big way if they have any hope of winning the NFC South. That is certainly a possibility for the Panthers.

The team really likes Christian McCaffrey and will utilize his skills in the offense frequently. Furthermore, the team is hopeful that Greg Olsen can return from injury and play at 100 percent. However, I believe that DJ Moore is the best sleeper pick for the Panthers and maybe for the entire league. Moore will help the Panthers stretch defenses and make big plays. His play style is very similar to that of Stefon Diggs for the Minnesota Vikings. Moore is a good candidate for a breakout season in 2018.

Chicago Bears – Kevin White

The Chicago Bears could have a big turnaround this season. With a lot of young talent and leadership, the Bears are turning the corner. Matt Nagy was one of the best coaching hires this offseason in my opinion. What Nagy did with the Kansas City Chiefs offense when he took over the play-calling last season. If anyone can make this offense work, it’s him.

While I look for Mitchell Trubisky to turn it round this year, Kevin White cannot be forgotten. White and the Bears have had a lot of misfortune. He has only appeared in five games with the team since he was drafted in 2015. If White can finally play a full season, he will surprise much of the league with his ability. Kevin White is a very talented player and a lot of people are sleeping on him because of his injury-plagued career.
