Cincinnati Bengals – John Ross

I don’t know what to make of the Bengals this season. It seems as though the team has plenty of talent, but has struggled against the division. The team had trouble last season moving the football, finishing last in the NFL in yards per game. I look at this roster and I can’t imagine that they will struggle as much on offense this season. It will be interesting to see how this team bounces back from two consecutive disappointing seasons.

While Joe Mixon is another sleeper for the Bengals, John Ross has a chance to be a top receiver in fantasy football this season. Because of his injury last season, Ross has not been given a fair look. If you will remember, John Ross set the combine record for his 40-time of 4.22. Lined up with pro-bowl wide receiver A.J. Green and a healthy Tyler Eifert, he could be a very good deep threat and see a lot of big plays deep down the field. Ross could be in for a big season.

Cleveland Browns – David Njoku

The Browns have been miserable for quite some time. However, I believe that will change right now. John Dorsey has great football knowledge and with his leadership, I believe the Cleveland Browns woes are finally soon to be a problem of the past. I could see this team winning between 6-8 games this year if all goes well.

With a bunch of inexperience on this team, there is a question of who will step up on offense and lead. With Tyrod Taylor under center, the team will have fewer turnovers and will be more efficient. For David Njoku, this is all great news. Njoku, a big and athletic tight end, will likely have a lot of room in the middle of the field this year.

As a rookie, he tallied up four touchdowns on 32 receptions. With a more talented group around him, I expect year two to be big for Njoku’s development.
